University of Oregon's Autzen Stadium
The glulam beams for the new roof were manufactured by American Laminators in our Swisshome plant. The beams were shipped to the job site for fabrication. Beams extending out from under the roof (back/south side of stadium) were pressure treated prior to installation.Each of the main girders consists of two 12 1/4" x 72" x 97'-0" glulam beams bolted together side by side. The portion of the beam extending beyond the steel knee brace is tapered.
