Klamath Falls Ice Arena

The Bill Collier Memorial Ice Arena is located near Klamath Falls, Oregon at the Running Y Resort. The new roof is hard to miss, particularly if you are traveling westward on Highway 140. The glulam beams for the roof were manufactured and fabricated by American Laminators in our Swisshome plant. We also performed the preliminary design work for the roof beams.

The arch span is 101'-6" (pin to pin). Arch spacing is 44'-0" o.c. Main arch inside radii are 92'-8" and 45'-5". The ridge purlin is straight, the other purlins have a (negative) camber of 1'-9".

At night time the arena lighting illuminates the roof in a manner that causes it to be visible, even from a considerable distance.
