View of Construction The glulam beams for the Harold E. LeMay Auto Museum were manufactured by American Laminators in our Swisshome plant. There are 19 complete archs in the building.

Each arch/rib was consists of three sections:
The center ("B") section has a long gentle curve. This section is identical for the 17 interior ribs. The end ribs have the same inside shape but are not as deep. Top Arch
Left Arch The left ("A") and right ("C") sections consist of a straight portion and a tightly curved portion at the top. The "A" sections are taller than the "B" sections. Right Arch
End View The beams were prefabricated in our plant and then shipped to the job site.

Design of the arches and connections was by Western Wood Structures. WWSI is also handling construction.
