Bottom Chord Connection Hip Conn. (Low Side)
Hip Conn. (High Side) Some of these connections appeared to be overdesigned. American Laminators was able to make some suggestions and several of the connection sizes were reduced considerably.

The steel fabricator used American Laminators AutoCAD drawings to program the cutting patterns for the various shapes. Steel detailing was done in 3D to insure proper alignment of the complex structure.
