Large View The US Forest Service Ranger Station shown here was rebuilt after the previous building was destroyed in a fire. It is located on the scenic McKenzie Highway East of Springfield, Oregon. The beauty of the glulam beams and natural wood columns (by others) blend well with the forest environment.

Wood exposed to moisture should be protected with flashing (as shown here) or preservative treatment.
